Known children were John (went to Georgia), Robert (1811-1888, Pennsylvania.), Thomas ( 1819-1887, New Orleans and then to San Francisco, Ca.), Francis ( settled in Upper Canada), William ( New Orleans), and Mary who remained in Ireland and married Hugh ROSS of Lugnafaughery. The Maguire family were Protestant, perhaps belonging to the Methodist church. The family was related in some way to the PENNELLS, most of whom were located in Co.
