Catherine had a sister Mary Jane Armstrong b. 7.11.1842; d. 13.6.1878; married 24.5.1866 in Tubrid Church. Other siblings were: Elizabeth Armstrong b. 25.11.1845 Letterkeen. William ARMSTRONG b. 31.7.1849 Thomas Armstrong b. c. 1840, d. 1.11.1932 age 93 years. Married Anne Crozier, 1871 in Turbid, b. 13.5.1856, d. 1889. Thomas and Anne had seven sons no girls. 1. Mother Anne died at birth Of James. Some of the Armstrong boys were married but I have had difficulty trying to sort them out. I think I am right in saying George you are descended from George Armstrong and Catherine Graham and also related to Gust Armstrong who married Jane Birney in 1888. ====================================================================== I think you and I discussed the Moffatt connection. I know my late father Sampson Trotter on one occasion I drove him down to Kesh, probably 1960's or so. He visited a family of Moffatts in Kesh on the road out to Ederney and I remember him saying that they were friends of his. I took it that he meant related in some way. Of this I am not sure. He also called in at the Mayfly Inn on the main street in Kesh. It was probably Gusty's son Edmond father of Stanley who owned Drumrush holiday centre down the Boa Island.
