Remember most names and Birth Places were recorded phonetically by people not familiar with Irish Place Names spellings. Do you have any information on where in Fermanagh both or either the Johnston or Gallagher originated from and if you have dates of when they were born? If they married in Canada have you their Marriage Certificate? which might give their Fathers given names and occupations. If we have dates we just might find them on Ship's Lists or entering Canada. If we have birth dates we may be lucky that someone has transcribed their Baptismal records which may give their parents and Townland, Church and Parish. Sounds like it could be a mixed marriage because Gallagher is usually Roman Catholic and Johnston/Johnson I'd associate as being Protestant (Methodist, Presbyterian or Church of Ireland).
