Hi all, I'm a bit late on the roll call, but here goes: CORR, MCCUSKER, MURRAY, MCDONALD, WYNNE/WINN/GEEHAN, LYNCH, CASSIDY, O'ROURKE, MURPHY all from the Roslea/Clones area and all Catholic as far as I know. I've pretty much exhausted the paper trail at this stage - hoping that DNA might provide some new leads, particularly to those who emigrated. My GEDmatch number is T138320 Seán Corr
Hello Kate, I don't know with any certainty the name of the siblings. My documentation does not go back as far as James' birth. Margaret you may already have had your question answered but the connection between Templecarne and Fermanagh is that the Parish of Templecarne covers part of Fermanagh on its east and part of Co. Donegal on its west. I hope this makes sense. Margaret in Oz.
Bill Your Margaret Becum is most likely BEACOMB(E) which can be Methodist or Church of Ireland or other Protestant faith. Curry, I would associate mainly with R Catholic. What date are you searching? and if you've an idea of the area she came from. Marriages usually take place in the Brides Parish or if a mixed marriage they may have a "Run away" marriage! That would be where they were not previously known. Not much help, I know, but it might focus your thinking. Whatever about the hand-writing, you've got to admire the sense of humour portrayed in the bookmark used in the Galloon Register in August 1853 . See https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000632868#page/4/mode/1up M.

Richard Eaton - re Willis of Aghatirourke in Killesher parish, Fermanagh - I have my family in Wikitree so that others can follow it there. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Willis-3391 <https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Willis-3391> Having recently transcribed George Willis’ will of 1782 and finding that there were at least three grandsons named George Willis, I still have a lot of work to do here. I replied to this once before but didn't see it in the archive. So at the risk of repeating myself.... Valerie, Nice to hear from you. I have very little information on my Willis connection other than the name of Catherine Willis (my ggggrandmother) They were listed as living in Monawilkin which isn't too far from Killesher? I visited Fermanagh, NI a couple of years ago and was told that Monawilkin was mainly uninhabitable. I was introduced to a local gentlemen with last name Eaton. We had a very nice visit and I discovered that they have the given name of WILLIS passed down through their family. This has to be more than a coincidence. He showed me the old EATON stone house (just a corner standing now). This was in BOHO, which is even closer to Killesher? I would appreciate any info you might have to help make a link here.
