I've been off Fermanagh Gold for several months because I accidentally blocked it and could not figure out how to unblock it. It seems that I've now sorted it out and I'm getting FG messages again. :-D So I'm looking forwarded to being part of the group once again. Eilish, Have you ever searched for the family of our elusive Rose in Cavan? Reason being my Dolan family came from there originally, and whilst the Snow family did not they still had ties to the families of Cavan, and there were McHughs there allied to Dolan. It may be your McHugh family originated there, not Fermanagh, and post-1860's there are Snow in Cavan also. Think I recall you mentioning that Frank McHugh believed he was not related to Rose McHugh of Kesh, and Frank would certainly know if he was. Perhaps we have been searching in the wrong County all this time??? Worth considering!
