    3. Cliff, I just took a look at the archives. It looks like Don Kelly (who used to admin this list) used to be the list admin for Derry. Maybe no one took it over after he passed away. If you are subscribed to the list, ask who the list admin is and see if you get a response. I did that with a list I belong and got no response. So, I contacted Rootsweb, and after they tried to contact the admin with no results, they put the list up for adoption and I adopted it. Still not very active yet but most of the traffic used to be forwarded from the Ancestry message boards and that process is not currently working. I am trying to work on that list but have put it aside until I finish some other priorities. Just curious to know what you find out. I consider myself very lucky to have had such a wonderful childhood and parents who worked cross community long before the expression was invented! Memories from life are like revisiting those days, but one needs some one or some thing to trigger them. A chance remark by someone will remind me of an experience. Like when my brother Byrom, and I were returning home and passing through the local village. One formidable lady was standing in her doorway, arms. Behind her was her daughter a couple of years older than I was. She stated to call me names, so I reached round her mother, grabbed her braided hair, and pulled her out onto the footpath. Her mother never spoke, but I shouted in the girl's ear "Sticks and Stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me! And if you ever do that to me again you are dead" My brother pulled me off her. I never had trouble from her again! That was the only real scrap I ever had. Byrom told my mother about it and I got grounded for a week! I think I'd be about 7 when that happened, so a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, but the memory is as if it happened yesterday.
