I know my late father Sampson Trotter on one occasion I drove him down to Kesh, probably 1960's or so. He visited a family of Moffatts in Kesh on the road out to Ederney and I remember him saying that they were friends of his. I took it that he meant related in some way. Of this I am not sure. He also called in at the Mayfly Inn on the main street in Kesh. It was probably Gusty's son Edmond father of Stanley who owned Drumrush holiday centre down the Boa Island. Gusty would have been a cousin of my grandmother Kate (Catherine Armstrong_ Trotter. Hope I have got this reasonably right. 3. Thank you for posting this. I believe I have Catherine Creighton in my tree. I have her born 13 May 1833 at Rossharbour, Fermanagh (near Belleek) daughter of John Creighton bn abt 1804 d 01 Nov 1893 at Rossharbour and Ellen Irwin bn abt 1809 d 20 Mar 1893 also at Rossharbour. Catherine’s sister Mary Elizabeth married a Fletcher. John Creighton’s parents are David Creighton bn abt 1759 and Catherine Dundas bn abt 1769. And if your Letterkeen is a townland near Kesh, then I believe I have Fletcher roots there in 1641 (based on a deposition made after the 1641 rising.) The Fletcher family from Lettermen is likely to be the same family that settled at Drumadravey near Lisnarrick and were there as late as 1966. 3. I think I have also seen that reference. It came I believe from an old tithe list. Other than the name and townland there was no other data as I recall. The problem, as always, is to relate other details to just a name on a list. Without parents, siblings, or spouses it is difficult to establish links or trace families.
