I am researching events in Brookeboro during the famine and was wondering if any historians out there know of a large skirmish around Christmastime 1849 in Brookeboro that the "Orange party" may have lost. Also in Lisnaskea was there a yearly fair held in January? And does the reference "Lough Side Boys" mean anything to anyone from early 1850. Thanks, JK
