Hi This is my first attempt at Irish records! Could anyone suggest how I would find records of the birth of Peter McAuley, described in his army records as born in Enniskillen around 1784? He was a shoemaker before enlisting in the 48th Northhamtonshire Regiment of Foot in 1809. His wife was Mary Dunn, and they had at least one child, James in 1810, before Peter and family transferred to NSW Australia in 1820.
