Jennifer: Keep up the good work. My Armstrong family all came from Fermanagh and the Clones area, also Enniskillen area. My interest in your Pt. 3 is the name of George Armstrong and his wife Anne who lived on Kilmore, and also the name of Simon My Armstrong family lived on the townland of Kilmore from the late 1700s to approx. 1885 as the eldest son, Rev. John Armstrong was born on Kilmore in 1788 and the youngest son, Thomas, my gggrandfather, was born in 1808. There were 4 other brothers and 3 sisters. I dont have any info on them. Thomas remained on the farm and raised his eleven children there. I have been told that the father was a George Armstrong and his wife was Jane Lee, but not confirmed. George is not a very common name and it has not been carried on into the family.
