Many thanks to all who wrote with suggestions for an enjoyable visit to my roots area. It sounds a wonderful place for scenery, friendliness and not least the traditional music and the beverages<g>. On a more serious note, the tragedy of the "troubles" has already hit very close to home for I live near Manchester and we had a taste of what it really means. However, I can't let that put me off for I am determined to get there in the new year. Barbara
