Anyway, after that outrage, the general feeling on both sides was "Enough!" and there will be no more trouble. The peace is holding. Enniskillen is a wonderful town. I recommend the restaurant "Oscar's" on a street near the Railroad Hotel, named for Oscar Wilde. Good food, nice atmosphere. Try to be there over a weekend so you can take the small boat to Devinish Island. I think it only runs on weekends off season. Ask at the tourist office. A nice B&B is on the Derrygonnelly road (towards Belleek), called Navar House. The proprietor knows a lot about good fishing in the area. If you like traditional music, try the pub in Derrygonnelly called The Cozy. Local guys play there on Saturday nights. The area around Derrygonnelly and over towards Leitrim is known for good music. If your relatives are from Fermanagh, Frank at the Town Hall in Enniskillen is very helpful to roots-seekers. He will do what he can to help you. Have a great time! Janet C-S
