Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening....I have written to this site a couple of times and I am hoping that someone, somewhere will be able to help me. I have noticed that there are people trying to follow the BRIENS. I am searching for ANNA KELLEHER (Could be KELIHER/KELLIHER/KELEHER) who was born in County Fermanagh, Kinawley, Ireland. She completed the 7th grade in the National School there. Anna came to the US in March 1930 and joined a sister who lived on Long Island with paternal married aunt. It was said that she was involved with a gentleman, Jack Connelly, who worked at the New York Telephone Company and a resident of Brooklyn, NY. Her last known address was 338 Clinton Ave. Brooklyn, NY. Her father's name was Patrick and her mother's name was Elizabeth O'Brien. (which makes me wonder if there is a relation there?) Since the majority of the Kellehers are from County Cork, I thought it would be easy to track this family down....Not even close. Any chance that anyone would know any information about Anna, or her family? I have no idea what her birthdate is, or Social Security Number. The closest I can come to any idea is a document that lists her age as 24 in 1933. This could be misleading as the birthdates are sometimes inaccurate. Please let me know if ANYONE knows ANYTHING about the Kelleher Family. Also, would love to know anything about the National School and about Kinawley (i can not find any references to it and have no idea where it is.) Any help??????
