Dear John, thanks for your response. Probably no connection because Thomas Sproul 1836-living 1885 was son of Thomas and Rebecca [or Margaret?] Brown and I can't go back any further yet. I think they came from Drumcard Fermanaugh based on naturalization records but no proof yet.
