This is our first foray into the records of Ireland and, after discussing costs with Irish genealogists, have determined that it will have to be a do-it-yourself project until the prospects have been narrowed down a bit. He was probably Presbyterian...at least that was the religion noted on some early Canadian records, but became a Methodist after a second marriage to someone of German descent. We have an excellent genealogy library here in Houston, TX so I'll check to see if they have the book you mentioned. Regards, Bob Walker
