On August 2nd (1765) Wesley embarked for England, having spent four months in this country (Ireland); and on the 20th opened the English Conference at Manchester. Four brethern from Ireland were received on trial - Duncan Wright, John Dillon, Richard Bourke and James Rea: and fifteen preachers were appointed to labour here, ........ This is the only mention of James Rea, however there is another book As Sprightly as the Place, a history of Methodism in the Upper Erne Circuit by Rev. Dudley Livingstone Cooney. Couldnt purchase a copy but I had access to it at the Library in Enniskillen. It may mention James Rea.
