They emigrated via Derry on the "Envoy" barque in 1849 to Philadelphia, PA and then proceeded to Carroll County, OHIO. Wife of William is Jane _________? b. 1824, and wife of Joseph is Martha __________?, b. abt 1800. Children of William: James, b. c1838, William, b. c1845, Robert, b. c1846, Margaret, b. c1848, Armstrong, b. c1852; children of Joseph are Jane, b. Dec. 1831 or Jan. 1832, Ann, b. c1832, Mary, b. c1834. All children except Armstrong were born in Ireland. Armstrong was b. c1852 in Augusta, Carroll County, OHIO. Is Armstrong a typical Irish first name? Please reply.
