My 2x gt-grandmother was Ellen Cadden, born c1845 in Newton Butler to Hugh Cadden and Helen McGuire. She married Patrick Fitzpatrick in 1859 and migrated to Scotland in the late 1860s. I have not found any siblings in Scottish records so suppose they must have remained in Ireland. Anyone have any info. on the family or researching the name in that part of Ireland? Cheers.
