Hi all I know this might be a big favour to ask, but I have used the official channels for this with no result. My grandad was born in Belleek but although I could find his baptism record from 3 weeks after his birth, neither the Belfast nor the Dublin Records office could find a birth record for him when I submitted all known details to them. Perhaps someone has access to the records and could do a more intuitive search for all births that particular day, in case his name was spelt wrong (or was even missing). If you are wondering why I need his birth record when I already have his baptism record, it is because I am told I need his birth certificate to apply for Irish citizenship. If anyone knows that this information is incorrect, please let me know! The details are as follows: Name: James PRICE Date of birth: 23 March 1886 Place of birth: Belleek, Fermanagh Father: James PRICE Mother: Annie Langley Nairn PRICE (née ARMSTRONG) He was baptised on 18 April 1886.
