    3. Hi, I need to know the correct pronunciation of Fermanagh. I mentioned "Ferm-an-ah" to some people from Ireland and they laughed and said it was "Ferm-ah" or something like that. I would appreciate the help. Yvonne Williams

Yvonne Williams > People that spoke to me while I was there pronounced it fer-MAN-a ...light on the 'fer' and light/short on the 'agh'. Could be different in other parts of the county perhaps.
