    1. Re: The Brick Wall Department
    2. Jane Anderson
    3. My gggrantfather was James Elliott, born in 1824. In 1849 he married Martha/Matty Kearns. They had at least two sons - John & Isaac (1849 & 1867). There is a large space between these two sons, so I'm sure there were more children. John married Catherine Hilliard in 1875 in Irvinestown, County Fermanagh. They had seven children: MaryJane/Minnie, Susan, Catherine/Cassie, Martha Jessie, John James, George & Joseph Isaac. Minnie & Cassie came to New York City in the 1890s & George came about 1912 and later moved to Canada. If any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you. - Jane Dixon Anderson in Connecticut, USA >From: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: The Brick Wall Department >Date: Wed, 31 Jan 2001 19:56:54 EST > >Fellow Listers, > It is my turn to pass around my Irish ancestors, to see if anyone >out >there might just be looking at some of the same folks. > My g-g-grandfather was named James Elliott, born about 1792.
