Included are demolition of several family myths and some factual renderings of history which de-romanticize the era. Many of the families appear, often reluctantly and at sword point in Ireland once the crowns of England and Scotland are united. For those researchers of Scottish families in Ireland this could be an excellent source. This concludes my only foray into book reviews.
