Friends, I received an e-mail from a relative in the Derrygonnelly area that raise beef cattle telling me much the same information regarding a disinfectant mat that is in the lane that leads up to the farm house. She also mentioned that the mail truck no longer delivers their mail to the farms. So far, in Canada, we have been extremely fortunate that this terrible and devastating disease has not reached us "yet". My heart goes out to the people of Ireland.
