Greetings Listers: I am researching the above name ("e" ending most common in Fermanagh area). The name shows up in Enniskillen and parishes of Devonish and Innishmacsaint in the 1820s & '30s. A Wm. Crooke of Silverhill (a townland ??) died about 1840 and left children Wm. Jr., Edward, Anne Jane; George Alexander and Henry - all under 20 yrs. Thought to have been raised by a George Crooke (an uncle ??) Any ideas are welcome esp. with reference to web sites I might check. Many thanks in advance.
