hi Bud and the rest of the list, I too use the Family tree maker but I would like to add this word of caution about their Griffith Valuation CD. I have photocopies of the original for one of my ancestors who had a house in one townland and 2 pastures rented in adjacent townlands. Problem - only two of these entries are on the FTM CD! They completely left out one of his entries. I tired different spellings for his name incase it had been entered wrongly but no luck. I have since learned of another person in my local Family history centre who has had the same problem. I guess when it comes to a CD that has been copied from another source it is wise to check the original source. The same is of course true for any other records that have been transcribed - mistakes do happen. Havign said all that I'm all for as much information online as possible as it isn't that easy getting to places all the time. All for now HElen
