SOURCE: Armagh Guardian: News - SPRATT, Thomas & Mary - Longlived - Issue dated 11 Feb 1845 ========================================= The following newspaper article was transcribed from The Armagh Guardian (microfilm), by permission of The British Library. ========================================= (From our Enniskillen Correspondent, Sunday, Feb. 9.) ... LONGEVITY.--There is at present an old couple living at Paris Island, near Enniskillen, of the names of Thomas and Mary Spratt, whose united ages amount to 210; the former being 106, and the latter 104 years old. Last harvest old Thomas reaped corn for several weeks, and Mary pulled flax at the same time, and what is most singular, she can see to thread the finest needle. ========================================= This reprint is intended SOLELY for the non-commercial use of family historians, with the sincere hope that a Lister may find the content useful.
