Hoiw many times have we recieved messages, very sinpel in text such as ; Yes, OK and thanks. All of these addressed to the Fermanagh sites, yet were meant to go to an individual. 1. All messages have a return address of the sender. ( PLEASE) use this return address when replying to an individual. (PLEASE) delete the original message in your replies. (ONLY) is you have informaton that may help someone else do you reply back to the Fermangh sites. I am a comtributor to these sites and fell justified in making this request. Ah but Bill, You also forgot to mention that not only are you a contributor - you are also the Listowner of the Fermanagh list :-) One thing though that you may not realise, at some stage you set the list properties so that all replies go to the list, I think we all do that at some stage. So, whenever anyone hits the reply to sender icon for this list as with many other rootsweb ones then only the list address comes up - and very many don't even realise they're replying to everyone and not just the one. Then, even if they do realise it many people don't know how to change it. and it's simple folks, all you have to do is delete the list address in the To bar and copy and paste in the address of the original sender.
