Dear Fellow Listers I noticed that in Digest #47, a Mr. Teevan was mentioned in Bunahone. I am searching for my Teevan ancesters somewhere in Ireland. My James Teevan was born in 1835 and emmigrated to Canada in 1870 along with his wife Elizabeth (McKuen), son patrick and daughter Elizabeth. Griffiths Evaluation shows Teevan's in Cavan & Fermanagh. Death certificates and census records here in the U.S. does not mention the county in Ireland. My only living older relative says they came from Cork. I found on record of them in Cork. I firmly believe that is where they sailed from and since another son was born in 1872 in Canada, I believe that is where they landed. I would appreciate any help or guidance you could give me. I,m really hitting a brick wall now. It seems as if they really didn't exist. Thank you Verna [email protected]
