There is a wonderful article entitled "By-Ways rather than Highways" in the March-April 2001 magazine Ireland of the Welcomes. It describes a journey from Cavan-Crom-Lesnaskea-Enniskillen-Lough Navar Forest-Forest Drive-Belleek-Ballyshannon. As I was reading the article, I thought it sounded very familiar. I retrieved my map of Ireland and realized that a few years ago we had made the same journey (only 'backwards').
