Hi Maureen: I hope you had a nice day for the wedding. I have been to a few Irish weddings in Co. Fermanagh and Co. Cavan and in both places the witnesses were the bestman and maid of honor. Ihave pictures of them doing so during the wedding which SI think is so nice. Here in the states it is done after the ceremoney and no one sees it happening.
