Phillip, I saw your recent reply stating that you were born in Kinawley. I visited Kinawley last year (first time in Ireland). My grandmother Margret Harte was born in Tiravree Glebe in 1883 and emigrated in 1902 to Massachusetts. I met my cousin Marty Crudden who gave me a grand tour of the area. I visited the old homestead and we had a pint in Corrigans pub. My ggranfdather James Harte was a stone mason who helped construct St Nailes Church in Kinawley in the late 1800's, his wife, Jane McManus was also from Kinawley. Jane's two brothers Patrick and John McManus( of Patrick and Margaret McManus) emigrated to Massachusetts around 1870. I remember my grandmother telling me stories of the area.
