Yes, Karen.... Fitzgibbon is at least easier to research than Smith! Didn't see any Fitzgibbon soldiers in the 76th Foot. The closest (in some sense of that word) would be WILLIAM FITZGIBBON in the 73rd Foot, from Inagh, Co. Clare.
