Dear Shelle: I haven't got a clue how she got to Ogdensburg but I suspect she may have come through New York City. I know early patterns (i.e. my Scottish ancestors who came to St. Lawrence County) may well have come through Canada, although at least one branch did come through New York City. I haven't explore how Isabella got to the Ogdensburg area as I just found out about her. My genealogical research had the wrong set of parents for my gr.grandfather but an old obituary found in a pile of photos by my mother's cousin in California has sent me off in a flurry of excitement. If I find out anything re: immigration patterns, will let you know and thank you for your offer to "keep your eyes peeled" for Isabella. For now Sue
