    3. sometime last year i posted on here details of a guesthouse i stayed at in Roslea, several people booked it after seeing my recomendations and they all got back to me saying what a great time they had and how worth the money it was . the guesthouse is called 'annagulgan house', if anyone would like details please let me know. ps..its not like staying at a gusethouse, its more like staying with a relative, they are so freindly and kind, its brilliant, and i for one can't wait to go back ! sean -----Original Message----- From: fermanagh-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:fermanagh-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Bud Flanagan Sent: 18 January 2007 21:46 To: County Fermanagh; Fermanagh Subject: [FERMANAGH] To The List ADMINISTRATORs and Roostweb administrators Is It permissable to ask list members of The Guest houses they have used and would recommend to future travelers. if no priceses are mentioned. ??? 3. To me it looks like a commemorative coin/medal. I think you should see a Latin scholar and checkl the lineage of England . Is there an Ann of England and William of Holland ? The script seems to be either Greek or a Cryllic script. They are first impressions and certainly not scholarly. 3. Dear All The coin appears to commenorate below the forthcoming marriage of Willem IV (see below) and Anne, the eldest daughter of George II of England. The etched writing appears to be perhaps some sort of denotation that you might find in cataloguing artefacts Best J "William IV, Prince of Orange (September 1, 1711 - October 22, 1751) was the first hereditary stadtholder of the Netherlands. William was born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, the son of Johan Willem Friso, Prince of Orange, head of the Frisian branch of the House of Orange-Nassau, and of his wife Marie Luise of Hesse-Cassel. He was born six weeks after the death of his father. William succeeded his father as Stadtholder of Friesland and also, under the regency of his mother until 1731, as Stadtholder of Groningen. In 1722 he was elected Stadtholder of Guelders. In 1733 William was named a knight of the Order of the Garter. On March 25, 1734 he married Princess Anne, daughter of King George II of Great Britain and Caroline of Ansbach. 2. This is a site I have not seen in past research of the history of this medallion. Thank you so very much for taking the time to research it so thoroughly. Appears that my medallion is not there...but there are a couple of others that are similar and also celebrate this marriage. I'll send a picture of it to the site in the next few days.
