There are Armstrongs still in Drumrush probably those you are looking for. They own the Drumrush Hotel there i.e. Stanley Armstrong. They are probably on email via a linkup of hotels of Fermanagh. Best Wishes, JC
Is anyone researching Latimers from Ballinamallard. I have a Lillie Latimer married to Henry Armstrong. She was supposed to be from Ballinamallard where her father worked or owned the local post office. Since Henry was born in NY in1900, returned to Fermanagh about 1913 and later returned to the US somewhere around early to mid 1920s, this would a time period of about 1900 to 1930s for these particular Latimers. Sound familiar to anyone.
Does anyone know of a book about Armstrongs from Kesh. My dad says he thought he had seen one before written by someone called Bates but I have not been able to locate it anywhere. Would appreciate if someone knows of this book or where else I may look for it. Is anyone rseacrhing Armstrongs from Kesh, Drumrush, Ballimallard David

Help!! Any suggestions! I have confirmed that my gggrandfather was indeed John E Matthews. his daughter was born in Maguires bridge - hearsay. I did locate him on a list of land owners in the late 1870 for Fermanagh, Ireland. As J. E. Matthews - address MAguiresbridge, owned 177 acres. Questions 1) how big was Maguires Bridge? 2)I have never found a listing for his wife's name, any suggestion on how to obtain that??? 3)How do I confirm That J.E. Matthews above was him, not his fathers name? 4)Where does one begin researching if you found out that the migrated from Ireland to Canada?? (I have been spinning my wheels in looking in PA and it ends up he went to Canada first) 5) Can anyone explain to me the pattern of family naming in the irish???? 6) Does it make since that during that time frame he would live in Ireland but be in the British army???? (He was born in Ireland- but Father was from Wales) Thanks to anyone who answers even one of these ramblings from my spinning mind!! amy
