    3. Hello Jennifer King, what is the time frame for your HENDERSON/ JOHNSTON marriage? I have always had a theory that my Henderson's at one time must have married a Johnston (nothing has come up yet) because Johnston is a christian name in my Henderson clan that carried on for many many generations. Although my Henderson's are reported to have come from Cavan, not really that far away though! Our first Henderson that came to Canada was James HENDERSON & Isabella Rutlidge around 1842. The only children that came with them, leaving a big gap of years between births were: Catherine Henderson b. 1833 Ireland; James Henderson b 1840 Ireland; JOHNSTON HENDERSON b. July 1846 Canada. 1. [FERMANAGH] KIRKPATRICK Family of Fermanagh
    2. Bonnie Kirkpatrick
    3. Hi everyone.. Seeing so much activity on the list, I decided to try again.. My husband's *cousin* in Lisnaskea is Florrie KIRKPATRICK.. She is 94 yr. young, and we are trying to figure out the connection.. .We know she is our relation, but cannot figure out for sure how, and can not seem to find any information beyond what she remembers.. She thinks that her father Hugh KIRKPATRICK b. 1/20/1862, and his father before him John KIRKPATRICK b.1826? (info she has says he died 5/14/1894 aged 68) were both born in the same house in Drumhack . John(her grandfather) married a Mary DOUGLAS(I have no date).. they had 6 children.. John b.7-6-1855,William 26-2-1860, Hugh(her father)20-1-1862, Thomas 20-4-1864, MaryJane 8-7-1860 & Elizabeth 14-9-1860. Her father, Hugh married Mary McClelland(again I have no date) ...They had 6 children; Douglas, Hubert, Florence(Florrie), Maud, Mary Elizabeth(Molly), and Edith. I am thinking that John (her grandfather, who married Mary Douglas) might possibly be a son of *OUR* John KIRKPATRICK b.?, and who married Elizabeth MONTGOMERY on Jan 13, 1813 in Aghavea, Fermanagh, Ireland. John and Elizabeth had 2 sons William b.3/12/1823, in Fintona, Co of Tyrone, and Robert b.4/6/1832 in Fermanagh...and supposedly immigrated with the boys in 1847 but even though we have found the boys, we have found no trace of them in Ontario, so perhaps the parents did not come to Canada. As I said, I just recently made contact with Florrie after a gap of about at least 20 years, and sent her family report from Fam Treemaker, and she wondered why there was none of her family there.. The reason is of course that I don't know where the connection is, so don't know where to add them.. I would love to be able to figure it out, so I can add them and send her a copy of the Whole family.. If there is anyone out there who can help me out, or steer me to a good honest researcher, I would be ecstatic. I am more than willing to pay someone for researching this family, as I know that I will never be able to make it over there to do the research myself. I did hire someone a couple of years ago, but got nothing for my $$, and can get no replies from the person(who was supposedly mailing me some info snail mail) Well, I guess I have gone on for long enough.. I apologize for the length of this.. I do have a tendency to go on about this stuff when I get started, but thought the more info I posted, the better my chances for results..
