    3. OK Jim, I'm asking about documentation. I have found a listing in the newly-published "Tombstones of Omey" for Francis FERGUYS and probably his wife Jane as follows: Francis FERGUYS died Oct 8, 2796, age 81 years (which means that he was born ca 1715) Jane FERGUYS died April 6, 1784, age 61 years (which means that she was born ca 1723) My g-g-g-g-grandfather, Francis FERGUS was born in Co Tyrone Sept 8, 1752. He immigrated to PA ca 1776 as he was in the Revolutionary War here. That would have made the above Jane 27 years old if she was his mother, and the Francis listed on the same gravestone would have been about 37. I have researched in Belfast at PRONI and also at the Library in Omagh, Co Tyrone and this is the first possibility I have found. I don't want to jump to any conclusion without documentation - BUT - my question is how would I make that connection if I am unable to find any documentation. My FERGUS family is Protestant and I have been to the Pres. Historical Foundation in Belfast and Mr. Bonar has checked and found nothing. I have followed through with the C of I records with the local pastors, again no information. I welcome additional suggestions. And, I will be returning in April to continue researching but WHERE would you suggest next??? And if I cannot uncover documentation, then what? Thank you for your invitation re:documentation as it is exactly where I am stuck right now. The time period is difficult to find documentation. I do intend to recontact the Cappagh C of I pastor upon my return as I will follow through on whatever records there are for the FERGUYS listed above.
