Hello, In notes written by deceased family members they say that James son of Francis was a General in the War of 1812. Is this true? I haven't tried to verify this yet. I am in possession of some FERGUS photos(1 of James,a postcard of Fergus reunion in Hastings NE showing Alexander Marrs Fergus' family) Also have a letter from an E. Rutledge who was married to Julia Fergus daughter of James McCormick FERGUS describing their life in Kansas dated 8-17-1881. Do you use this platform to exchange copies of these types of items?
