Hello FERGUS mailing list, When I received the following message I decided that I would share this with you so that you know another one of the valuable services RootsWeb provides to all mailing lists on their server. It was brought to my attention recently that we do not want any virus information posted to this mailing list - and that is true, to an extent. However, as listowner I will monitor this subject and at times may decide that it would be in the best interest of all to post information of this nature. A while back another member posted information on the happy99.exe worm because I asked him to do so after he discovered I had sent it to him, unknowingly. Also, at the same time I had sent posts to each member of this list and wanted all to be aware of the possible infection without causing panic. OK, enough on this subject, moving back to genealogy!
