Hello List, I have been quite quiet, but NOT idle . . . After collecting so much information and putting it into sensible stacks all over my desk, office floor, then on to my spare bed and then on the bedroom floor I decided that I had to do something . . . SORT! I have been sorting and filing for the last three weeks every spare moment available. And, I can see the light at the end of this genealogy tunnel:) The bedroom floor, the chaise, and the spare bed are now clear - but the office, arrrrggggghhhh still need work. I am madly sorting to get ready for a trip to California and take the pertinent family information to meet cousin Tony Bertotti who lives in Novato and is related: Francis FERGUS 1>James FERGUS 21>Elizabeth McPHERSON 309 I would like to request that anyone who is subscribed to this FERGUS newsgroup would share their snail mail address with the group by posting it to the list. Those who are not comfortable with that would you so kindly share your snail mail address with me by posting privately to me? This is simply a request, not a requirement to be subscribed. As I have been sorting and finding information I have found some that I would pass on to people related to the information, BUT the e-mail address is no longer working - just last night I had 3 occasions to forward information and couldn't. The subscribers to this list are known only to me, I do not share that information with anyone else and would not without permission. As many of you know Shirley FERGUS and her daughter Emmy spend many hours helping me with any FERGUS requests I send to them and also searching to find additional FERGUS info - and I do not even share the addresses with them even though it would certainly be easier for me. Why not post your beginning ancestor, date, place in the Subject line, then give your name, address, phone number, fax number in the body of your message. Imagine all the connections that might be made? I'll start it off with the next post.
