Just thought I'd pass this on: ANCESTRY.COM http://www.ancestry.com is allowing non-subscribers a free month of their service if you sign up between now and Dec. 31. No purchase is required of any service. They have quite a few databases, including Death Certificate info for OHIO, etc. They also have an interesting feature that scans obituaries from newspapers around the US. They don't seem to have any international data available. >added I have done a FERGUS search and have extracted all the information to add to my database and Shirley FERGUS and her daughter Emmy are helping me assimilate the information, write to new-found FERGUS e-mail addresses, write to funeral homes for info on FERGUS people for us to contact. You may be interested in searching for other family names you are researching! I subscribed for the free month, but actually in about 6 or 7 hrs. I had searched and found all the FERGUS info for this year. As soon as the New Year rings in we will have a Roll Call, so start preparing for it by organizing your info!
