    3. Hello FERGUS people! I have worked on FERGUS genealogy all day today - answering posts, organizing our subscribers list, and reading the poll figures. Everyone seems to favor having the highlighted addresses below. Please also note, that I have decided to add the Archives URL for ease of access. Once there you will have to enter FERGUS in the search window. I read through all 192 posts in the archives today to begin to make some sense of the FERGUS ancestry, all of the different lineages. I would like to ask that as you post to the newsgroup that in the subject line you list the surname, first name, state or country, and perhaps the time period or a date. This will definitely be an asset to those wishing to search the archives. There is already quite a bit of information posted - do take a search! This is most interesting work and I do enjoy corresponding with so many different people. We have a diverse group subscribed with many backgrounds from many countries. And, I am trying to keep them all straight in addition to moving forward with my own direct ancestry. I do know that each of you would be making more genealogy connections if you would post your information, and then re-post the information a few weeks down the road for new subscribers to read and others to perhaps be in a different place in their research. I am asking for a roll-call of all subscribers please. Use any format you wish, but post back farthest for your FERGUS ancestry - or a collateral line of DITTY, etc. Thank you for reading, Cynthia crussell@traversecity.com FERGUS Website http://www.traverse.net/people/crussell/fergus_family.htm FERGUS Newsgroup FERGUS-L@rootsweb.com Rootsweb Archives: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl
