Hello This came from another list that I sub to A sexton record is what would be called a 'work sheet' by the cemetery. It contains (other than the grave number and location) all information available about the individual. It contains name(s) of people who paid for the lot, the doctors, funeral home, etc. Sometimes the caretakers don't like to take the time to give this information out, but it is public records at the office of the cemetery. : Contact the cemetery and obtain a Sexton record. These sometimes : contain more info than the official death certificate. I know that in : Missouri the Sexton record does contain the parents info.
