I have just received a response to my "soapbox" post and have made two changes that hopefully will unconfuse you. First of all I have now changed the To:address to be that which you can type in or simply click reply-to. And, the second change is to my signature line below with the newgroup posting address rather than the subscribing address. All of the Rootsweb lists work the same and so if there is a list you wish to subscribe to you simply type in the name of the list followed by a hyphen, L for list, or D for Digest form, another hyphen followed by the word <request@rootsweb.com> and you will have the subscription address. If you wish to post to a group simply the name of the group-L@rootsweb.com (even those these last two addresses are highlighted they are not clickable. Hope this will begin to help. Anyone having trouble posting please contact me with as much information as possible so that I can either fix the problem or ask Rootsweb for help.
