I am a direct descendant through Francis Fergus and Laura Jane Wilkinson, through Permelia Jane Fergus Wilcoxson (who married Isom Wilcoxson), through Margaret Lea Wilcoxson Gorden (who married Earl Noah Gorden), through my father, Leland Earl Gorden, (who married Norma Marie Fish Gorden). My name is Lynne Gorden Howard. I have fairly complete information from Francis down and family stories of Isom and Permelia, if anyone is interested. I know that one person was looking for a Fergus family Bible that might contain information about Laura Jane Wilkinson's lineage, but I do not kow of the whereabouts of that. These Fergus descendant's ended up primarily in northern Missouri. Laura and Francis are buried in the Dale Cemetery, Harrison County, Missouri.
