Watrous Ave. died of a heart ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ The King Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Mr. Hoffman lived in Des Moines all his life and retired from Economy Forms Co. He is survived by four sons, Bennett of Bella Vista, Ark., and Robert Jr., Timothy Sr. and Garland Sr., all of Des Moines; two daughters, Victoria Dvorak of West Des Moines and Roberta FERGUS of Bentonville, Ark.; two brothers, Delmer and Daniel, and a sister, Barbara Flannery, all of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Tonini Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and a vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his church's building fund.
