(Langen) Burgoyne, 84, of 27 Langen Road died yesterday in The Highlands Care Center, Fitchburg, after a long illness. She leaves her husband of 57 years, Francis J. Burgoyne; two sons, Thomas F. Burgoyne Sr. of Wheeling, W.Va. and William L. Burgoyne of Winchendon; a daughter, Kathleen A. Duvarney of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; nephews and nieces. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of James and Mariah (FERGUS) Langen, and lived here all her life. She graduated from Lancaster High School, and attended Becker College in Worcester. Mrs. Burgoyne once worked at the U.S. Post Office on Main Street. She was a life member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was a member of the Current Topics Club. The funeral will be held Monday from Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Main Street. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
