Morning all, A query for those of you who have the Orlin P Fay genealogical book. I've been researching my wife's WILCOX side. Does it show anywhere a Ruth WILCOX marrying a Benjamin FAY? I am asking because according to H. F. Johnston's JOHN WILCOX OF HARTFORD Ruth - b 20 Oct 1781 Middletown, Middlesex Co. CT dau. Jeremiah and Ruth (Dudley) Wilcox m Benjamin Fay, Res. Middletown, Middlesex Co., CT; 3 ch; Ref: Mrs. Wm Richardson, Barbour's VR Middletown v2 p159. I am aware that Benejah and Benjamin are roughly the same. The year matches the date of birth given in Orlin P Fay's book, but there is no birthplace in Orlin P Fay's book, though I had her in my database as being born in Sturbridge, MASS. So before I search this out further, could someone check the Orlin P Fay book for me about a Benjamin FAY who wed a Ruth WILCOX? Thanx just for reading this far.
