    3. Dear Janet, There are three possibilities. One would be regular service in the Spanish America War. The second would be the First World War. The third would be in a regular service on an United State Naval Ship. There are microfilm indexes in the National Archives for Military Service and Military Pension Forms. They have lots of Naval records.
