    1. [FAY] Fay Researcher Website
    2. Fay List
    3. Hi Everyone, ?B-) Some may remember that a while back I said that the Fay mail list has access to unlimited Internet accessable computer capacity. Shortly after that Linda Fay Kauffman sent me a note regarding developing a website for the subscribers of this mail list. Linda's employment involves html and ftp which are computer codes used to develop websites, and she is exceptionally talented in this field. Since then Linda has devoted an enormous ammount of her free time, energy and rsources to developing a website that will be useful to all Fay researchers. As best I can determine, the Fay surname goes back before 1000AD, originated in France and often appeared as de Fay or du Fay. There is a compeletely different origin of a completely different family that originated in ancient Ireland and often appears as Fahey, but is often changed to Fay. Hundreds of years ago and since then, the Norman branch has migrated worldwide and most prominately in England, Ireland, Germany, North America, and likely many other places that I am not aware of yet. Likely the Irish Fahey's did likewise. Fay research thus tends to be vry confusing. So Linda had the unenvable task of developing a website that is specific to Fay research, but has a tremendous potential span in terms of time and geography. While the website is not really considered to be complete, if indeed there is a such a concept in websites, it is ready for everyone to have a look and see what you think. Check and enjoy http://www.fayfamily.org ! The "books" page and the "mail list" pages are the most well developed at this point, but Linda would like to know what everyone thinks and of course suggestions for improvements! I think it's wonderful! Enough for now, Bob Fay ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
